There are times in life when we can feel packed or drained or empty or full, in any case asking The Holy Spirit to give us an overflowing amount of His Power & Strength is a must. It’s a daily thing, to get us through the daily grind.

There’s only one way to get rid of our fleshly desires and habits, that’s to turn them over to The Holy Spirit. When our hearts break for the things we’ve done and we feel remorse for our sin, it’s the Holy Spirit trying to get our attention to repent and turn away. Don’t just listen to Him, allow Him to direct our path.

As the song says “who I am, in the eyes of The Father”,. It’s not anything we’ve ever done, it’s what He done for us. The Father sent The Son (Jesus) and He sends us The Holy Spirit, to live in our hearts to help give us Guidance, Comfort, Strength & Power to follow Him daily.

Life as a “Follower of Jesus” is a choice and I choose it daily. To draw closer to Him, to be a minister of His Word, to share what He places on my heart and to have joy. I do all of this even though the enemy tries to steal it away but I can have His Joy because His Spirit lives in me and He makes me complete.

Happiness is a temporary state but Joy comes by being made complete when we are in a personal relationship with Jesus.
